There are so many ways you can become involved and support our mission.  Outfitters welcomes you to join our efforts as we expand our services and extend our reach to more and more children and families!  Click on a tab below to learn more about how you can get involved.

Clothing Donation

Approximately 75% of Outfitters clothing needs are met through donations of quality used, in-style clothing from individuals in the community. Your donations of new and gently used clothing are vital to accomplishing Outfitters’ mission.

GUIDELINES

Donations of new and/or gently used clothing are gladly accepted year-round. We will be happy to provide you with a receipt for your tax-deductible donation upon request. We donate any unused donated clothing to church mission groups as well as missions within the community.

Here are some basic items we accept:

Children’s clothing in sizes 4T through size 18

Adult, juniors, and young men’s clothing in all sizes

Adult clothing should be in a style that a teenage student would WANT to wear and that is appropriate attire for school

New or gently used shoes and sandals in all sizes

New socks and underwear in children and adult sizes (NOTE: 90% of girls will only wear bikini style underwear and boy’s and men’s boxer briefs are always in demand.)

Handbags, jewelry, belts, new hats (especially baseball caps)

Gently used jackets and coats in all sizes

Athletic clothing and equipment

Sorry we do not accept the following:

Clothes that are stained or show excessive wear

Toys or books

Used underwear and socks

Sponsorship Opportunities

Interested in sponsoring an event or Outfitters fundraising effort? Check out the current available opportunities below.

Volunteer With Us

Outfitters needs your time, enthusiasm and talents to keep our organization running. We have opportunities for children, groups, and adults. From washing, drying, and folding/hanging clothes to outreach and event labor. Without dedicated volunteers, Outfitters would not be able to accomplish its mission of clothing children in need.

INVENTORY

The easiest way to get involved with Outfitters is to help keep our inventory stocked! Click below to learn more about the ways you can help with our inventory.
  1. Clean Out Your Closets! Gently used clothes, shoes and accessories make up the majority of the stock in Outfitters store.
  2. When you’re out shopping for your own children, please don’t forget the Outfitters kids.  Pick out an extra shirt or pair of pants that your own children would love and donate them to Outfitters. It will put a smile on a child’s face.
  3. Are you or your children involved with a local PTO, service group such as BETA Clubs, Girl or Boy Scouts, National Honor Society, civic group or church groups? We can help you organize a clothing or shoe drive.
  4. Is your child having a birthday party?? Ask your guests to bring donations of socks and/or underwear to be donated to OutfitterS.
  5. If you or someone you know is involved in the clothing retail or wholesale business, we would love to partner with you to help clothe children in the community.
